Rotary has been amazing to our program over the years. Your support goes far beyond funding — you invest in people, fostering inclusion, and strengthening opportunities for meaningful work and connection in our community.

As we continue our weekly Grant Award Series leading up to our Annual Auction, we are proud to highlight this week’s recipient: Farm of Hope at Hope Springs Farm.
This incredible organization provides a space of healing, connection, and purpose through nature, animals, and community. Their work creates opportunities for individuals of all abilities to engage, learn, and grow in a supportive and uplifting environment. 🐐🌸
This year’s grant will help fund new pathways through the animal pens and around the gardens, making the farm more accessible and safer for everyone who visits and participates in their programs. These improvements will enhance the experience for volunteers, visitors, and those who benefit from the farm’s therapeutic and educational offerings. 🌿🚶‍♀️
We are honored to support a mission that brings people together, fosters inclusion, and creates meaningful moments of connection through nature and care.

When winter winds are howling and the temperatures drop, there’s nothing better than stepping into the warmth of the greenhouse. 🌿

Inside, it’s a different world — filled with sunshine, fresh soil, and the promise of spring. Our Growers have been busy planting seeds, tending tiny seedlings, and propagating houseplants in preparation for our upcoming Pancake Breakfast & Spring Clean Up plant sale.

There’s something special about nurturing new life in the middle of winter. We can’t wait for you to see what’s growing! Stay tuned for more details about the plant sale — spring will be here before we know it. 🌷

Back when our barn was old, our goats were just babies, and our “new building” was actually new 🐐🏚️

In 2016, our garden was small but mighty 🌱, our fleet consisted of just three vehicles (including our very first minivan 🚐), and our days were filled with big dreams and even bigger heart.

Our Executive Director was still a DSP, right alongside our growers, rolling up sleeves and making pumpkin rolls for a fundraiser—covered in flour, laughter, and purpose 🎃💛

We didn’t have much, but we had what mattered: dedicated staff, incredible growers, and a vision that believed growth happens one season at a time.

Looking back reminds us just how far we’ve come—and how grateful we are for every step of the journey. 💚

Unfortunately, due to the projected weather forecast, we have made the tough decision to cancel our Holiday Dance on Friday December 26th. We want to ensure everyone stays safe and off the roads during the winter storm.

Our next dance will be held on January 30th from 6p-8pm.

Our annual Holiday Cookie Sale brings tasty treats that will make you loved ones smile!



For $10/container, you can fill your cookie tray with as many delicious cookies that can fit! We will also have pre-packaged variety of cookies, if you want to skip the fuss.



Homemade canned goods, candies, holiday crafts and more will be available.

We are incredibly grateful for the support from the Hershey Rotary Club. Their recent support of our Pathways to Pasture project is a game-changer. Thanks to their generous donation, we’ll be able to a build more accessible walkway into our pasture to allow Growers, including those using wheelchairs or mobility supports. You’re helping us create a farm where everyone can participate fully — and have a blast doing it! 🧡

❤️A Heartfelt Day of Giving in Hershey Rotary ❤️

Today, our hearts are full as Hershey Rotary proudly presented community grants to 29 incredible organizations. All made possible through the generosity and dedication of our members, supporters, and the success of our annual auction.
Because of you, we were able to give back over $30,000 to groups that uplift, serve, and support our community every single day. This remarkable achievement is a true reflection of Service Above Self, and it would not have been possible without the collective efforts of each person who contributed time, talent, or resources.
To every member, volunteer, donor, bidder, and friend of Rotary, thank you. Your support directly empowers these organizations to continue doing meaningful work and creating positive change throughout our region.
We look forward to shining a spotlight on each of the 29 organizations and sharing the incredible impact they make. But for today, we are honored to present them all together and offer our deepest gratitude.

Our growers adore the Holiday Sing with WB Music Therapy—many look forward to it all year long! Seeing them shine on stage, surrounded by encouragement, music, and love from the community, is truly magical.

This event means the world to our program. It gives our growers a chance to express themselves, build confidence, and share their joy in a way that brings everyone together. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do—and why partnerships like ours matter so deeply.

Thank you for filling the room (and our hearts!) with so much warmth, celebration, and connection. We’re already excited for next year! 🎶💞

After a recent meeting with Dauphin County Providers, we learned that there is major food insecurity within our community. We at Hope Springs Farm thought no better way to support than to host a virtual food drive this year!

We have a goal to raise $1000 by the Holiday Cookie Sale to support the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. You can provide 4 meals for every $1 donated. We hope our community can come together to raise awareness and ensure families have food security over the holidays.
