Your kindness touches not only our growers, but their families and our whole community. You are the heart of our mission, and we are so grateful for you!

Direct Support Professional Appreciation Week 2025 has begun with a special breakfast for our staff this morning, along with awards, games and gifts throughout the week to remind our DSPs how incredible they are and what their hard work and commitment to our program means to us!

Please join us in sharing your appreciation for our hardworking staff and all those in our community working directly with our individuals continuing to make the world a better place!

REMINDER! This weekend is the FINAL Market on Chocolate of the season! We are so grateful to everyone in the community that has support our program and our individuals. We have made great friends, both local and out of state, and established new partnerships with the other vendors. We are going to miss these weekends, but we look forward to bringing fun new items next year!

Thank you to our event coordinator for putting the tent together each weekend, to our facilitators creating the projects with growers, and to the staff who have volunteered their time at the tent. We couldn't have done it without you! 🥰

Hope Springs is a nonprofit working farm that empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities through purposeful work — from caring for animals to growing plants and trees. 🌼🐐

Their booth will be stocked with fresh produce, jams, handcrafted items, and more. Come shop and support their mission!

Hope Springs Farm Friday Night Dances are BACK! On September 19th from 6pm-8pm at the United Church of Christ Colonial Park, we will be hosting a "Welcome Back Dance Party" so come shake your groove thang with us! You do not have to be a HSF participant to attend. Admission is $5 per person, light refreshments included with admission. Staff and parents are FREE.

If you can't make it to our first one, save the date for any of our upcoming dances!
Oct 24th – Halloween theme - Feel free to wear a costume
Nov 28th - Thanksgiving theme
Dec 26th – Christmas theme

Did you know Hope Springs Farm has a roadside stand? Not only do we have produce, we also have chicken and duck eggs, cut flower garden to build your own bouquet, canned goods, crafts and more!

Our growers restock the roadside stand every morning Monday-Friday.

They take so much pride in caring for their garden and seeing all the produce that comes from the seedlings they started in our greenhouse over the winter.

Meet our newest editions! Tiny and Smores are a bonded pair that we adopted from the Harrisburg Humane Society and they have been settling in quiet nicely! Staff and Growers have been providing our new furry friends with plenty of fresh treats to welcome them to their new environment and we can’t wait to see how their personalities bloom!🌼

Hope Springs Farm is a non-profit working farm that assists those with intellectual disabilities in purposeful work. Their growers care for animals, sow seeds and tend to the various plants and trees around the property. Hope Springs Farm will be at Market on Chocolate this weekend with fresh produce, jams, handcrafted items, and other goods. Please shop and support them this weekend.

We are excited to show your what the growers have been working on the last two weeks! We have pickled beets and dilly beans, fresh marmalade and jellies, and produce from the garden. We also have a few really cool woodshop projects at under our tent today. Come check us out Market on Chocolate from 9:30-1:30p.
