We’re honored to recognize Rutter's Children’s Charities for their generous gift to Four Diamonds, which helps advance care and support for children battling cancer at Penn State Health Children's Hospital.

Thanks to their incredible commitment, a space in our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic now bears their name — a lasting expression of hope and healing.

Four Diamonds child Harrison cheered on Penn State Football at the annual Penn State THON Football game this past weekend as the MI Windows and Doors Kickoff Kid!

Harrison was diagnosed with kidney cancer at just 16 months old. Today, he is cancer-free, back in school, and making the most of every childhood moment. THON has become one of his happiest memories, where he and his brothers play and laugh with the students who support them. Harrison is living proof of the difference Four Diamonds makes — and a reminder of the hope that comes from standing together in the fight against childhood cancer.

As Childhood Cancer Awareness Month kicks off this September, we’re celebrating the strength and spirit of Four Diamonds child Hadley, who helped kick off the Penn State Football season this past weekend as the MI Windows and Doors Kickoff Kid! 🏈 🐾

Diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2024, Hadley has faced every challenge with courage and determination. Even on the toughest days of treatment, she refuses to let cancer take away the activities she loves most. Her resilience and joyful spirit continue to inspire everyone around her, reminding us that even in the face of adversity, life can be filled with laughter, love, and hope.

Thank you, MI Windows and Doors by Miter Brands, for giving Hadley the unforgettable opportunity to kick off Penn State’s first win of the season — a powerful moment to honor all children fighting cancer. 💛

A new school year is here—and with it comes a whirlwind of emotions: excitement, nerves, and fresh beginnings. Four Diamonds psychosocial programs is here to help families navigate this transition with care and support.

Earlier this month, we kicked off the season with a joyful Back-to-School event! Kids picked out brand-new backpacks, filled them with school supplies, danced along with Ridiculous Nicholas and enjoyed dinner.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to connect with this year’s Penn State THON Executive Committee as we kicked off day one of our two-day retreat in Hershey! 🙌

Today, THON engaged with leaders from Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine, gaining deeper insight into the critical work being done to conquer childhood cancer. Tomorrow, they will tour Penn State Health Children's Hospital, including visits to some of our state-of-the-art research labs. 🔬

“When you’re battling cancer, there’s a lot of bad. But there’s also a lot of good, and that’s because of Four Diamonds.” – Sami 💙

At just 11 years old, Sami was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Her journey included chemotherapy, radiation, and two bone marrow transplants. Through every challenge, Four Diamonds was there—offering financial support, emotional care, and a community of hope.

Sami first learned about Four Diamonds through her school’s Mini-THON. Years later, she became a passionate Mini-THON leader, using her voice to inspire others and give back. Now a thriving young adult with dreams of becoming an art therapist, Sami is turning her pain into purpose.
