Our Harmony Square residents enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Manada Hill Diner this afternoon! The food was delicious, the laughs were nonstop, and the smiles were absolutely contagious. We were also met with such kind and welcoming staff—a special thank you to Adela and Mary for making our visit extra special.

Today AARP-Pennsylvania, together with Lower Dauphin High School’s Computer Science Honor Society, presented an excellent Fraud Prevention Program for our residents and community guests.
Everyone learned key fraud fundamentals, top scams to watch for, warning signs, practical safety tips, and how to report fraud.

We had such a wonderful time honoring our amazing February birthday residents! The room was full of fun, friends, and laughter as everyone enjoyed karaoke entertainment by James—he always knows how to get the crowd singing along!🎤💫
Our celebration wouldn’t be complete without a delicious cake made by our chef, and of course, happy hour added a perfect touch to the festivities.🥂🍰

Our residents were all smiles as they spent time snuggling with the adorable kittens from HART-Harrisburg Animal Rescue Team!
We were delighted to welcome four tiny bundles of love: Antonio, Carla, Davina, and Chad. These sweet kittens brought so much happiness, comfort, and laughter to everyone they met.
A very special thank you to the wonderful HART volunteers for taking the time to bring these precious kitties to us. Your kindness and dedication make moments like this possible, and we are so grateful.

Today our residents were treated to a very special guest—Maggie the Umbrella Cockatoo! Maggie brought so many smiles as he showed off his adorable tricks, sipped on Coca Cola, nibbled on cheesecake, and filled the room with laughter. His big personality and gentle sweetness made everyone’s day a little brighter.

🎉Happy 100th Birthday, Tom!🎉

We had the absolute joy of celebrating our wonderful resident, Tom, as he reached this remarkable milestone—100 years young!
Residents, staff, and family gathered together to shower him with birthday wishes, cards, and lots of love. And of course, we celebrated with his favorite treat: chocolate cake with chocolate icing!
Tom lit up the room with his humor, kindness, and unforgettable smile. It was a day filled with laughter, memories, and so much joy.

We had the honor of welcoming Dr. Raj Dave’, renowned cardiologist, for an incredibly informative and engaging program. He shared the latest advancements in heart artery and leg artery stent procedures, as well as exciting updates on G*E (Genicular Artery Embolization).
Our residents were fully engaged—asking thoughtful questions and appreciating Dr. Dave’s clear and compassionate explanations. He spoke about how he is able to treat a full range of heart and vascular needs, giving everyone a deeper understanding of the innovative care options available today.
We are truly grateful to Dr. Dave’ for taking the time to present this outstanding program. Our residents enjoyed it very much!

February has been overflowing with special moments as we celebrate our “Bonds That Build Us,” enjoying beautiful harp music by Mary-Grace, a fun Galentine’s Day Social, delicious chocolate covered strawberries made by our Dining Director, heartfelt Valentines, loving visits from Caring Hearts therapy dogs, and a wonderfully creative button canvas painting session in Harmony Square. Our dedicated staff stays actively engaged with our residents through special bingos and soda-float socials with the concierges, wine tasting hosted by our Maintenance Director, and even a special lunch outing with our resident Ambassadors. Up next is pub-style trivia led by none other than our Executive Director, Angi, as we continue creating meaningful experiences, building lasting connections, and showing just how deeply we care about our residents.

Our Independent Living and Personal Care residents worked hard making beautiful valentine candy grams for their friends in Harmony Square. 💕
