Our Executive Director (Sabreena Geeslin), Director of Sales & Marketing (Ainsleigh Atkinson), and Assisted Living Manager (Lisa Dunn) are attending the Texas Assisted Living Association (TALA) Annual Conference this week, spending time in sessions focused on the latest Texas assisted living policies, leadership strategies, and resident care improvements. April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness and show support for individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological disorder that affects movement, balance, and coordination. Nearly 1 million people in the United States are living with Parkinson’s, and about 90,000 people are diagnosed each year.

At Stoney Brook Senior Living, we recognize the strength of those living with Parkinson’s and the dedication of the caregivers who support them every day. By spreading awareness, learning more about the condition, and supporting one another, we can help create a more understanding and compassionate community.

This month, we stand with everyone impacted by Parkinson’s and continue to advocate for awareness, support, and hope.

What a beautiful saturday, filled with laughter, love, and sweet memories! Our Easter celebration was one for the books—complete with a fun-filled egg hunt, so many eggs to find, and the most special visit from the Easter Bunny 🐰💛 🐣
Residents, families, and friends enjoyed delicious donuts, muffins, juice, and milk while sharing smiles, hugs, and plenty of happy moments together. From giggles during the hunt to warm embraces, the joy in the room was truly something special.
