The Heart Institute at Palmetto General Hospital recently conducted an EMS Outreach Initiative for Miami Dade and Hialeah Fire rescue teams to enhance prehospital cardiovascular emergency care to save more lives one heartbeat at a time.

The City of Hialeah recognized The Heart Institute at Palmetto General Hospital for the vital role that healthcare professionals play in the community, recognizing not only their hard work but also raising awareness of the essential healthcare services available in the City of Hialeah. The Heart Institute at Palmetto General Hospital provides our community with access to cutting-edge treatments and specialized services that might not be available elsewhere in the city. Spreading the love during Heart Month!

Thanks to the students at Miami Lakes K-8 Center for spreading Valentine's Day cheer with our hospital community. The Student Council members brought a little extra warmth and kindness to our patients with handmade Valentine's Day cards, brightening their day with hope and comfort and bringing smiles to their faces.

We are so grateful for our community partners, like Miami Lakes K-8 Center, for their support and thoughtfulness. These acts of kindness are a reminder of our important duty to our community and the families we serve.
