CDC is monitoring increased parvovirus B19 activity in the U.S. Parvovirus B19 is commonly spread among children and usually causes no symptoms or mild illness, such as flu-like symptoms, rash, and joint pain. However, infections can cause serious health problems for high-risk groups.
