Meet Kim Tish, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Certified Addiction Professional (CAP). 🤗

Motivated by her own 16-year struggle with addiction, Kim has dedicated the last 14 years to helping others recover. After completing a faith-based program in 2010, she earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.

With over a decade of experience, Kim offers a range of services, including substance abuse and anger management groups, domestic violence support, parenting classes, and individual, family, and marriage counseling. 👏

Today we want to give a shout out to Corinne Adams. 👏

Her dedicated leadership in mental health counseling, has greatly benefited Highlands County. Since 2021, we’ve had the privilege of working with Corinne at Synergy Health Group, where she mentors interns and supports children, teens, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She also provides mental health services through the Redlands Christian Migrant Association in rural Central Florida.

With over two decades of experience, she volunteers pro bono at Samaritans Touch and advocates for crisis management resources, inspiring all with her professionalism and commitment to service.

Drawing is a valuable activity in our classes, especially for kids with disabilities and individuals with mental health disorders. 🎨

It provides a creative outlet for self-expression, helping them communicate thoughts and feelings non-verbally while improving fine motor skills.
