Our WCA Chess Team proudly brought home:🥇 1st Place🥈 2nd Place🥉 3rd Place

From the classroom to the competition board, our students continue to prove that hard work, focus, teamwork, and determination make champions 💙

What makes this even more special is that many of our students are just beginning their competitive chess journey. This was only one of our first competitions outside our school, and our Blue Phoenix are already rising to the top 🔥♟️

A huge thank you to our amazing coach for the dedication and passion poured into our students every week. Your leadership is helping build confidence both on and off the board 👏

We also want to thank The Children’s Trust for supporting enrichment opportunities like chess and helping our students grow through experiences that inspire critical thinking, discipline, and leadership.

Teacher Appreciation Week at WCA was filled with so much love, gratitude, laughter, and unforgettable moments. 💙🩵

From delicious breakfasts and wonderful lunches… to thoughtful gifts from students, families, and therapists… to an incredible mariachi surprise that filled our halls with joy our teachers felt celebrated all week long. 🌟

But maybe the most meaningful gifts of all were the small handwritten notes from our students…

Those simple words are the reason behind everything our teachers do each day.

At WCA, our teachers are more than educators, they are mentors, safe spaces, cheerleaders, and part of our family. Thank you for pouring your hearts into our children and helping shape their future one child at a time. ✨

Our WCA Chess Team brought home

This was only our SECOND competition outside our school, and our students are already making powerful moves, competing without rankings, but with heart, discipline, and confidence.

We are beyond proud of our Blue Phoenix for rising to the challenge and representing WCA with excellence 💙

A special thank you to our coach for the dedication, patience, and passion poured into every practice this victory is a reflection of your hard work 👏
