Annual economic impact data released by the Georgia Hospital Association highlights the $113,624,122 that Chatuge Regional Hospital generates for the state economy. GHA’s data also reveals that the hospital contributes $88,387,705 to Towns County. This update is based on 2023 data and uses an independent third party’s modeling.
The number one priority of Chatuge Regional is providing high-quality care to our patients. Through this mission, the hospital also strengthens state and local communities.
Chatuge Regional Hospital’s economic reach extends beyond healthcare, sustaining jobs in a range of industries. GHA’s data shows that Chatuge Regional supports 657 total jobs across Georgia, including 518 jobs in Towns County, and 299 full- and part-time employees at Chatuge Regional. Together, these direct and indirect jobs generate $38,142,868 in household earnings across the state.
