Chatuge Regional Hospital opened over 60 years ago under a different name and as the smallest hospital in Georgia with only 13 beds. From that point forward, our commitment to service and quality of care has built the facility into a full service, not for profit, medical facility. By offering treatment using state of the art equipment and a 24/7 Emergency Center, you can be confident that you will

We’re excited to announce that both Chatuge Regional Hospital and our affiliate hospital, Union General Hospital, will once again participate in the Georgia HEART Rural Hospital Tax Credit Program!

Beginning in July, Georgia taxpayers will have the opportunity to direct a portion of their state income taxes back to their local community hospitals instead of sending those funds to the state.

This program provides eligible participants with a 100% Georgia state income tax credit while helping support local healthcare close to home.

Contributions made through Georgia HEART help fund patient care, medical equipment, technology, and essential hospital services at Chatuge Regional Hospital and Union General Hospital.
