A session at Soul Spa promotes relaxation which in turn allows blood and oxygen to flow to areas of stress, aiding the body to heal itself and helping it to return to homeostasis. I don’t diagnose, prescribe or cure. I am not a medical doctor and encourage all clients to seek medical care first. Reflexology is a science-based integrative health practice. Maps of the body reflexes are found predominantly on the feet, hands, face, and ears and use unique manual thumb techniques to deliver pressure to the neural pathways of those reflexes, assisting the body to function optimally. Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry is a laying on of hands in prayer and anointing of oil using non-invasive techniques to clear, energize, and balance the human and environmental energy fields, thus affecting physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. It is based on a heart-centered, caring relationship in which the HTSM advanced practitioner and client come together energetically to facilitate the client's health and wellness. In general, a session at Soul Spa offers many benefits including Engages the mind and body in a manner that is natural, appropriate, safe, and often soothing. Provides immediate ease of anxiety and stress. Relieves muscle tension and facilitates muscle memory and joint mobility. Enhances connection to self; the feeling of being in the “here and now.” Can improve sleep patterns and sleep quality. Enables and promotes relaxation which allows the body to self-heal. The science is real and unfolding

I have always been intrigued by spontaneous remission with Alzheimer’s patients and reflexology. Maybe the connection is the impact of reflexology’s impact on inflammation. More research is required to determine the cause.
