Reflections on 2025 & Looking Ahead
As we wrap up 2025, I want to pause and say thank you. This year was full, meaningful, and transformative—both professionally and personally—and I’m incredibly grateful to share it with such a wonderful patient community.
Highlights from 2025
Education & Growth
In May, I attended the SCALE Symposium for Cosmetic Advances and Laser Education—five days of learning alongside leaders in aesthetic medicine from around the world. A highlight was a private breakout session with Dr. Leonie Schelke, a Dutch cosmetic physician internationally recognized for her anatomy-based, safety-focused approach to injectables. These experiences directly shape how I approach treatment planning, safety, and natural results for my patients.
New Skincare Line
This summer, I launched the Northland Med Aesthetics skincare line—four clinically driven products designed to simplify skincare while meeting the real needs I see in patients every day.
Memberships
We also introduced memberships, allowing patients to plan treatments more intentionally while being rewarded for loyalty. It’s been wonderful to see how this has supported consistency in care.
Mentorship & Leadership
I completed individualized training with Giovanna McCarthy, owner of PDO Max, who flew in from New York. This experience was not only valuable in hands on training but more importantly the discussion over dinner where Gio shared the many challenges she faced in growing her now world renowned business. I also attended a women’s leadership summit at Sugar Lake and was able to gift a ticket to one of my patients—one of those moments that felt especially meaningful.
The New Rapids Building
After years in the making, we moved into the new Grand Rapids building in November and celebrated with an open house in December—thank you to everyone who braved the below-zero temperatures to celebrate 🤍
There is currently one larger space available. Bridget at Pash and I mutually agreed to pause moving forward, as our timing didn’t align. She is a highly respected professional and will do great wherever she lands. I’m being very intentional about the next fit for the space and welcome introductions.
Behind the Scenes
This year also included moving our family to Swan Lake, a memorable Yellowstone trip (including a car breakdown 😅), and incredible support from my family. The kids help with everything from greeting patients to events, paperwork and upkeep, and Derek is always supporting behind the scenes. It truly takes a village.
Continuing to Learn
I’ve spent time educating myself on treatments I may never offer—because informed decisions about what not to provide are just as important as what I do. If there’s ever something you’re curious about, please reach out.
Iceland 2026
Our Ladies Wellness Trip to Iceland (July 2026) is still open for booking through the end of January—and you do not need to be a patient to join.

Let’s Have Some Fun
Scroll back through our social media and comment on your favorite post from 2025. I’ll randomly choose a winner for 50% off a treatment in February.
This year has taught me that staying consistent and organized with the little things allows more space to accomplish the bigger things and I think this lesson applies across the spectrum…professionally, personally and even with your skincare 🙂.
Finally, as you scroll Northland Med Aesthetics social media remember it is a highlight reel and fails to share the hard work, uncertainties and tears that went into it. Whatever your goals are for 2026, I encourage you to take the first small step today and see where the momentum takes you!
Thank you for being part of such an incredible year. I’m looking forward to making 2026 even better—together.
With gratitude,
Natalie
