🌟 Meet Us Monday 🌟
This week, we’re excited to introduce three wonderful members of our team: mom Dena, daughter Natasha, and their cousin Trista!
💛 Dena
Dena brings creativity and heart to everything she does. She has a hidden talent for making cosplay costumes and loves spending time outdoors—whether it’s camping, kayaking, or disc golfing. In the kitchen, she shines as one of our cooks, enjoying both cooking and baking for our residents, who she believes deserve the very best.
At home, Dena has quite the lively crew: two dogs (Beary and Apollo), three cats (Salem, Sabrina, and Davina), a gold macaw named Nikki, three parakeets, four fish, nine chickens, and even a tiny turtle named “Big Mike”! 🐾
She finds joy in laughing with her coworkers and starting her day playing with her dogs. Her dream is to one day homestead and live off the land, surrounded by animals and nature. For Dena, the most rewarding work is exactly what she’s doing now—caring for our residents at Guardian Angels.
💛 Natasha
Natasha is a CNA here at the facility, and while she humbly claims she has “no talents,” we couldn’t disagree more! She loves outdoor getaways and has a passion for baking—especially her famous pumpkin cheesecake that everyone looks forward to during the holidays. 🎃🍰
She’s also an animal lover, with one dog (Max), three cats (Niko, Hermes, and Ivy), and two ferrets (Bruno and Finny).
Something small that brightens her day? Drinking an Alani!
Outside of work, Natasha enjoys playing games with friends and residents, as well as biking and hiking. She likes to start her workday by giving one of the residents a big hug—such a sweet way to begin the day! 🤗
Her ideal day off includes getting some cleaning done, then relaxing with her pets and boyfriend, and playing games with her parents.
Her dream job is to become a sonographer, and she finds the most meaning in caring for our wonderful residents here at GAHR. What drives her to do her best work is making sure residents receive the care they truly deserve.
Looking ahead, in five years Natasha hopes to have saved enough to purchase a home with her boyfriend, get married, and hopefully start a family. 💕
💛 Trista
Trista is full of creativity and energy! A hidden talent she has is drawing, and she also really enjoys gaming in her free time. When it comes to adventure, her outlook is simple: “any adventure is a good adventure!”
She likes cooking (even if she says she’s not the best at it!) and is a proud pet parent to two dogs (Pepper and Stewie), two cats (Oliver and Sylvia), and two lizards (Alfredo and Bowser). 🐾
Something small that makes her day better? Good times and good friends!
Trista’s dream job is to work in classic car restoration, and she loves that she’s always learning something new each day. The most meaningful part of her work is making people smile and laugh at least once—it’s what truly motivates her.
Outside of work, she enjoys dirt biking and drawing. She usually kicks off her workday with a good energy drink, and her ideal day off includes relaxing with her pets and hitting the trails with friends.
Helping people gives Trista a strong sense of purpose, and seeing others have a great day is what drives her to do her best. In five years, she hopes to be building a fun car to take to the drag strip! 🚗💨
