Zaker Family Vision is a full service family owned Optometric practice serving Chicago's southwest area since 1988. Drs.

Joseph and Theresa Zaker place an emphasis on the treatment of anterior segment disease including eye infections, allergies, dry eye disease and emergencies. All our staff doctors are licensed and certified to prescribe both topical and oral medications in the treatment eye conditions. We excel in hard to fit contact lenses and prescribe all types of lenses including, daily wear, disposable, programmed replacement, astigmatism correcting lenses, gas permeable lenses and bifocal contact lenses. Our pricing on contact lenses are lower than most commercial and mail order companies. We always encourage our patients to shop for their best value in contact lenses, and the vast majority return to our office for their supply.

This is why when we recommend over-the-counter eye drops, we give a name brand recommendation and encourage patients to avoid generic eye drops.

The eye drops — sold under multiple brands — have been recalled over concerns about sterility, according to the FDA.
