Community changes lives—and the church is the heart of our community. Safe Harbor is calling on 100 churches to partner with us through a simple $100 gift that fuels restoration and healing. Imagine what we can accomplish—side by side. For more information about partnering with Safe Harbor, contact Stefanie Robinson at stefanie@safeharbornc.org.

You don’t have to be thriving to come to Jesus. You don’t have to have it all together to come to Safe Harbor. Here, the weary find a refuge, the burdened find support, and through Christ, souls find rest even in the hardest seasons.

If you or someone you know may benefit from one of our programs, visit safeharbornc.org or call (828) 326-7233 to learn more about the Christ-centered programs and resources we offer women (and their children) in our community—creating pathways to long-term stability and hope.

This January, we’re inviting—and challenging—churches to link arms with us in faith, believing that when the Body of Christ moves together, God multiplies what we bring. We’re asking 100 churches to commit $100 a month, trusting that every dollar becomes a seed in the hands of a multiplying God.

By partnering with Safe Harbor, your church becomes part of a mission that helps women and children step into the lives God has planned for them—lives of safety, hope, restoration, and purpose. Your commitment isn’t just financial; it’s stepping in as His hands and feet, standing in the gap for families who need the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Let’s link arms this January and watch God multiply every gift, every act of generosity, and every seed of hope sown into the lives of women and children in our community.

As 2025 comes to an end, we rest in the truth that God is already ahead of us—making a way, opening doors, and restoring hope. Safe Harbor is blessed to continue serving women and children with His love at the center. Here’s to 2026 and all He has planned. ✨

Our Breaking Barriers campaign may be wrapping up as the year comes to an end, but the barriers themselves don’t disappear. Homelessness is real, and the struggles people (and their children) face don’t pause when the spotlight fades. At Safe Harbor, we remain committed to breaking these barriers every single day.

Visit https://givebutter.com/BeyondBarriers2025 to help ensure women and children in our community continue receiving the stability, support, and hope they deserve.

Dignity starts with recognition. It’s easy to look past our unhoused neighbors, but being 'seen' is a fundamental human need. Eye contact can be a gift. If you see someone on the street today, look them in the eye and smile. Acknowledge their presence.

Our Story

Safe Harbor is a Christ-centered community dedicated to rebuilding, renewing and recovery. Our vision is to inspire everyone we encounter to a thriving and purposeful life in Christ. Safe Harbor’s New Day Now provides safety, shelter and positive programming during the day for homeless women and children. Safe Harbor's residential program is a 1 year faith based program and provides women with the opportunity and resources to heal from past wounds and resulting coping behaviors with Life Restoration and transition to independent living as the end goal. Safe Harbor also offers groups and classes open to the public for recovery and emotional healing.
