As a valued patient of our Hickory Chiropractic community, we appreciate the trust you place in us and want to inform you about how we are addressing the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

We are closely monitoring events in our local community, the nation, and worldwide and continually updating our policies and protocols according to new information. Please know that our office is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, including best practices for hygiene, infection control and team member health. We feel confident in our ability to continue seeing patients and providing chiropractic care in the safe and high quality manner you expect and deserve.

Our highest priority is to keep everyone as safe as possible, including both patients and staff.

Therefore, at the recommendation of CDC, we will be screening patients by asking:
Do you have fever OR respiratory symptoms such as cough or shortness or breath?
AND
Have you traveled to an affected geographic area within the 14 days of symptom onset? (China, Iran, S. Korea, Europe, cruise ship, or high risk sites in the US)
OR
Have you had close contact with a person who traveled to high risk sites or has COVID-19?

This effort will help determine whether you should be seen in a setting that is better equipped for this situation (primary care office, urgent care, emergency room, etc.)

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please call Hickory Chiropractic Clinic at (828) 323-8998 PRIOR to your appointment so that we can discuss with a provider how best to take care of you. Should you arrive at the office and meet these criteria, you may be isolated and asked to return to your car and call our office for a telephone assessment so we do not expose other patients and staff.

Yes! We want to reassure you that our office is taking every precaution to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff. Chiropractic care is essential to maintaining optimal health and stimulating your immune system to fight off disease! Chiropractic is also essential to keep people out of our primary care provider's offices and the E.R. for many health conditions, which in turn will allow our medical colleagues to focus on those less fortunate. WE ARE OPEN!

Our satellite clinic in Morganton is closed until further notice but we would love to see you in the Hickory office.

Due to possible black ice on Friday, Feb. 21st, 2020, both the Morganton and Hickory Offices will be opening at 10 a.m.

To all of our patients coming to and from our office this is our street. Please be aware! Speed Limit on 2nd & 3rd Ave. is 25!

P.A.C.T. - Pay Attention in City Traffic

HICKORY – The Hickory Police Department’s January traffic enforcement P.A.C.T. – Pay Attention in City Traffic will be located on 2nd and 3rd Avenues NW from North Center Street to 9th Street NW. Enforcement, both day and night, will focus on red light violations, following too closely, distracted driving and speeding.

As always, citizens are encouraged to be vigilant and observe all traffic laws, avoid utilizing mobile and digital devices and maintain driving awareness while operating a motor vehicle.

To better serve our Burke County patients we now have a satellite clinic in Morganton. In association with Carolina Medical Center/Atrium Health our clinic will be located in the Phifer Wellness building in front of Grace Hospital. If the Morganton office would be more of a convenience for you or your family please let us know when scheduling an appointment.
