Client Services is looking for volunteers with a flexible schedule and willing to volunteer on an “as needed” basis Mondays - Thursdays! If you have time, won’t you help? Please contact Jailen @ 828- 327-0979 EXT 245 for more info!
Client Services:
· Answering phones, distributing mail
· Assisting the Shower Ministry with distributing towels & hygiene products, ensuring the area is maintained
· Receiving incoming donations
· Sorting through donated clothing to be washed and redistributed.
· Assisting in the lobby to ensure a clean and a welcoming environment
· Assisting clients with Laundry Services.

Clients in need of assistance come to Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry for help in a crisis or for on-going life circumstances. Client Services serves as the first stop for our clients to inquire about receiving services for help. Our clients may need the following financial assistance:
Eviction prevention (rent and mortgage)
Utility disconnection prevention
Crisis Financial Aid
Referrals to outside community agencies and churches

Saturday's event with Lazrluvr has been rescheduled to June 29, 2024, due to SEVERE WEATHER in the forecast. As always, our #1 priority is safety for our patrons, bands, sound crew, and employees. Today, we are highlighting what our Medical Clinic and Pharmacy are doing. GHCCM is the only FREE medical clinic in Catawba and Alexander County providing services to patients who are uninsured and fall within 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
