GHCCM Crisis Clothing closets are empty as we approach cooler weather. If you have more (gently worn) casual clothes in your closets that you might spare, please consider dropping them off at GHCCM. Long sleeve tee shirts, hoodies, jean, cargo pants, & underwear for men are our most critical needs.

The public is warmly invited to join us for this moving and patriotic event, which will take place in the front parking lot of GHCCM. Members of the Elks Club, City of Hickory officials, and GHCCM staff will be in attendance.

The public is warmly invited to join us for this moving and patriotic event, which will take place in the front parking lot of . Members of the Elks Lodge, City of Hickory, NC officials, and GHCCM staff will be in attendance as Mayor Hank Guess assists with the presentation.

The Elks’ Flag Presentation Ceremony is a time-honored tradition that celebrates the history and symbolism of the American flag. Through patriotic speeches and a demonstration of proper flag etiquette, the ceremony reflects the Elks’ deep commitment to community, veterans, and youth. These ceremonies are conducted by Elks Lodges across the country to instill national pride and recognize the flag's role in American heritage. Please join us as we honor the flag and celebrate the values it represents.

What better way to express our heart and soul than through the gifts that God gives us. God has given one of our GHCCM clients, Donte’, an extraordinary gift for singing. When asked to sing, Donte’ chose to sing Amazing Grace. This timeless classic is a true reminder of how God’s amazing grace and love never fails to follow us all the days of our lives.
