BAYADA client Jaxon and his brother Liam share a special bond. Recently, Liam visited our Mount Laurel, NJ office to see how we train caregivers to provide inclusive care, all as part of earning his Disability Awareness merit badge as a Boy Scout.

Liam gained firsthand experience and learned creative ways to help make life more accessible for Jaxon, like designing a wheelchair-accessible sprinkler system.

We’re proud of Liam for showing how acts of love and kindness can help create a welcoming and supportive environment for people with disabilities in our communities. ❤️

Before becoming a BAYADA nurse, Meredith held several leadership roles within BAYADA. After stepping away from those roles, she began a new journey to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Following her graduation, she joined our Nurse Residency Program and completed the specialized trach/vent residency, deepening her clinical skills.

After nearly three months in rehabilitation following a fall earlier this year, BAYADA client Domingo is finally home—thanks to the dedicated support of our Newton, MA, care team.

Director Matt Guerra, Clinical Manager Allison Penta, Divisional Client Services Manager Alison Drew, and Johnny Carranza went above and beyond to make his homecoming special. From coordinating equipment deliveries and restocking his kitchen to cleaning, rearranging his space, and surprising him with his favorite meal, their efforts ensured a smooth and joyful return.

Additional care from our North Boston team, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and visiting nursing services, is helping Domingo stay safe and supported at home.

We’re so proud of our teams for going the extra mile to welcome Domingo back with compassion and care. ❤️

North Carolina’s 2025 Home Care & Hospice Advocacy Day was a tremendous success!

Tempestt, CSM was just 1 of the 175 registered advocates representing 65 agencies from across the state. Advocates had the opportunity to share personal stories with lawmakers emphasizing the urgent need to strengthen access to home care in NC through raising reimbursement rates. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many lawmakers expressing appreciation and support for home health care services.

North Carolina’s 2024 Advocacy Day took place on May 14, 2024. Two of our office's Client Service Managers joined Hearts for Home Care Advocacy for it's largest event yet!

Over 190 advocates from different providers, organizations, and backgrounds joined together in Raleigh from all over the state to share in a unified message… home care MUST be prioritized in this year’s budget!
