Trinity Village - A Senior Care Community

We recently honored Hollar Scholarship recipients during a reception at Trinity Village.

The fund was established in 2011 by Bryce Hollar in memory of his wife, the late Margie Hefner Hollar, and in tribute to the teammates of Lutheran Home — Hickory, which is now Trinity Village, who provided care for her in her final years. Later, Bryce expanded the scholarship opportunity to all Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC) teammates to empower them to further their education and enhance their abilities to care for those served at LSC. This year, six LSC teammates received a scholarship.

Recipients Ashley Morrow of Trinity Village, Jennifer Walker of Trinity Village, and Kanci McKnight of LSC Foster Care attended the event. Also in attendance was Sherrill Hollar, daughter-in-law of Bryce Hollar.

Other recipients who could not attend were Jenna Henry of Aston Park, Marquita Martin of Trinity Grove, and Sybil Richardson, program manager of LSC’s Raynor Street Apartments.
