Volunteers Needed!!
HSK’s free grocery store is in need of volunteers to bag food, stock shelves, and assist guests when making the choices that best fits their household’s needs. Our 100% choice grocery has seen a large increase in the number of families we are serving in the last few months and we need more volunteers to help us meet these increasing needs.
Volunteers work between the hours of 8:00am to around 12:00pm Monday through Friday. If you are interested in joining us please call 828-327-4828 to get on the schedule.

The Crisis Help Center has immediate need of volunteers that can help in our food pantry anytime between the hours of 9:00a.m. - 1:00p.m Monday to Friday. Volunteer duties include, stocking the pantry shelves, assisting the clients with food carts and being a bright smile and a helping hand to our neighbors facing crisis.

Our grocery shelves have been emptied over the last two weeks due to high demand. If you or someone you know is able to donate please pass along this list. Donations can be received between 7 AM and 1 PM Monday through Friday at the Hickory Soup Kitchen. This grocery supports over 550 families monthly with over 1000 people living in those households. Your help would make a huge impact in the lives of those we serve!

Due to low temperatures and some remaining ice in our parking lot, Muscle Maintenance will be opening at 10:30 tomorrow. If you had an appointment scheduled before this time, we should have already been in touch. We thank you so much for your understanding and hope you all enjoyed the beautiful, snowy weekend!

It's almost that time of year again! School starts in less than a month and as we all know, times have been HARD recently. Each year, there are kids that go in on their first day of school with nothing. Let's change that for as many kids as possible this year!
Muscle Maintenance is looking to give back to the community by hosting a school supply drive. We will be taking donations of supplies (listed below) and monetary donations. Any monetary gifts will be matched by us! When you bring in your supplies, we will have a jar up front for you to nominate your favorite school for these supplies to go to! To show our appreciation for your generosity, you will receive a $10 credit toward your next service or package purchase.
No kid deserves to not have what they need to learn. Let's pull together and make a difference!

As therapists, Cortney Robinson, Stephanie Marshall and Lauren Pettit have very different styles. All together, they make one heck of a team.
Cortney’s medical and sports massage training has allowed her to provide treatments aimed at balancing muscle tension and correcting postural distortions to alleviate pain and ailments.
Stephanie takes a bit of a softer approach to medical massage. She aims to provide stress relief along with balancing muscle tension through medical massage while also providing therapeutic massage with Swedish and hot stone techniques. She also provides a service known as lypossage to aid in cellulite reduction and loss of inches throughout your “trouble zones.”
Lauren works to improve the client’s overall wellness by relieving pain, soothing injuries, increasing relaxation and improving circulation through Swedish and Deep tissue techniques. She will me getting certified in medical massage to increase her overall knowledge and skill.
We want everyone in the community to be as healthy and happy as possible. Our mission will always be to “work together to maintain a pain free community!”
