Patrick is now seeing patients at FryeCare Cardiothoracic Surgery, located at 415 N. Center St., Suite 204 in Hickory. Same-week appointments are available. Patrick brings more than five years of operative experience, including involvement in cardiac transplantation, endoscopic and open saphenous vein harvesting, aortic reconstruction, structural heart interventions and robotic-assisted cardiac surgery. He also holds additional training in vascular surgery. His clinical areas of specialization include cardiothoracic and minimally invasive cardiac surgery, open vascular and endovascular procedures, aortic reconstruction and aneurysm repair, and coronary artery bypass grafting.

In recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday, physician practices and outpatient departments of the hospital will be closed on Thursday, November 27. We are open on Friday, November 28 from 8 a.m. to noon. Please note that FryeCare Urgent Care in Hickory is open on Thanksgiving Day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Additionally, our Emergency Department at Frye Regional Medical Center will be fully operational over the holiday.

With more than 35 years of experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, Carlos assists with complex procedures and provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient care.
