Calling all clinicians! Are you having difficulty navigating s*xually charged issues or concerns with your patients? I have created a class just for you. I will be teaching how to respond to your patient(s), how to connect and create a safe space with/for them and how to give them the skills needed to meet their goals.

Topics will include:
How to maintain a professional environment.
How to work with individuals and couples concerning s*x and s*xuality.
Trending topics.
Selfcare as a clinician.
When to refer out

This is six month course. 90 minutes, monthly. To maintain an intimate and safe environment this class will cap at 6 clinicians.

Announcement for public release:

The Catawba Valley Pride Board of Directors announce our 13th Annual Pride Festival will be held at The SALT Block, located at 243 Third Avenue NE Hickory, NC, 28601 on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. This is a family friendly event featuring a vendor fair, drag entertainment, music, dancing, and “The world’s smallest Pride Parade!”.

Board President Leo Morton states: “Pride is about community coming together, proclaiming we have the right to exist, and to be celebrated. We are a vast community of different folks with different views who agree on one commonality: Love is Love! I hope everyone is ready to celebrate this year!”
