Flu vaccines are already being offered at some of the local pharmacies. Per CDC guidelines and the recommendation of our physician and nurse practitioner, we will begin administering vaccines at the end of September. We feel this is best as we need the vaccine to last until the end of flu season. Please call our office for more information. Thank you.

As the sun rose on Sunday, March 15, in Vale, N.C., Bob Hart looked over Hart Square Village one more time before he left this life surrounded by both the place and people he loved.

Historian Warder Stevens declared in 1916, “The story of America is written in log cabins.” And today, we are grateful for the man who spent his life preserving them.

Bob always said he hoped that heaven would not be a place with mansions on a hill or castles in the sky. But a place with plenty of cabins and a front porch to overlook God’s creation.

We are blessed to have shared many conversations with Bob about his dream for the future of Hart Square. And he was overjoyed that the Village will be used as a teaching facility to share and preserve the pioneer America and culture which he loved so dearly.
