Over 150 teammates came together to learn, refresh, and grow in their roles. 💙 We are so proud of our team for their dedication and commitment to providing excellent care each and every day.

A special thanks to our Staff Development Coordinator, Ashley Morrow, for organizing this week’s events with the support of our entire leadership team - who also went over the moon to make each station fun, engaging, and educational!

Today, we celebrated Ella’s retirement from the Trinity Ridge family.
For 12 years, Ella has served our community with dedication and has been a constant source of warmth and joy with her ever-present smile.

While our team is heartbroken to see her go, we are truly excited for the next chapter of her life. Please join us in congratulating Ella on this incredible milestone, and feel free to share your fond memories and well wishes with her below!

Day 2 of Nursing Home Week Fun!
We kicked off the afternoon with a delicious lunch from JB's Rolling Bistro, followed by a sweet treat—an ice cream sundae bar hosted by our amazing Life Enrichment Director, Alice!

What a great way to kick off National Skilled Nursing Care Week!

We started the morning with Muffins with Mom in the café, where residents and loved ones gathered to enjoy sweet treats and quality time together. In the afternoon, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck rolled in to treat our team to gourmet coffee and refreshments.

Even though the rain rolled in, we found sunshine in the joy and connection within our community.

A Proud Moment for Trinity Ridge!
Tonight, we celebrated a major milestone as seven of our own were pinned as Registered Nurses after graduating from CCC&TI.

Coincidentally, National Nurses’ Week just started and what an honor it is to celebrate each of you today!

Congratulations to Carson Brooks, Katrina Chapman, Jacob Icard, Autumn Lenoir, Brooke Minton, Courtney Pennell, and Liz Warner!

These incredible individuals worked at Trinity Ridge while pursuing their nursing degrees—balancing school, work, and patient care with determination and heart. They’ve set a powerful example of what’s possible with hard work and perseverance.

We’re proud of the nurses you’ve become and honored to be a part of your journey.

Here’s to your next chapter as RNs—you’ve earned it!

April is National Occupational Therapy (OT) Month! These healthcare professionals help people regain function and adapt to changes after an injury, disability, or other health condition. OT teammates in Lutheran Services Carolinas' senior living communities are employed by LSC partner Trinity Rehab, which is currently hiring across North Carolina.

Here’s a quick guide to the letters you may see on their nametags: OTs are registered (R) and/or certified (C) by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Registered Occupational Therapists (OTRs) have either a master’s degree or a doctorate (D) in occupational therapy. They evaluate clients, plan interventions, and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs, who have a bachelor’s degree) as they implement the care plan. In North Carolina, OTs also maintain an annual state license (L).

We’re grateful to our OTs for helping our residents and clients live abundantly!

Each of these individuals has shown unwavering dedication, compassion, and integrity as they’ve pursued this next step in their nursing journey—all while continuing to provide exceptional care to our residents.

Their success reflects the excellence we strive for every day and reminds us of the power of collaboration, faith, and respect in building a stronger future for long-term care.
