The Pregnancy Care Center of Catawba Valley exists to uphold the sanctity of human life by demonstrating the love of Christ to: 1) women facing crisis pregnancies and related issues through the provision of spiritual, physical and emotional support and by proclaiming the Gospel, and 2) the community-at-large by promoting a Biblical view of sex and marriage through education.

Let's talk Walk For Life!!!

How far is the walk?
-> The walk is roughly 3 miles in total, beginning at our center and walking on the city walk. There is a turnaround location at the halfway point, and you will return the same way on the city walk back to our center. If at any point you want to turn around early, you are more than welcome to!

How do I register?
-> You can register on our website, pcchickory.com! Registration is FREE. You can register as a PCC Individual Walker OR you can register and create a team! Invite your friends and family to be on your team and work together to raise funds to sponsor our moms to receive our services for free!

Where does the money go?
-> Here at the PCC, all our services are free! We provide medical, material, educational, spiritual, and mental health services to our clients. It takes $1,200 to put ONE woman through just our medical services. As you give, you can know your money is going directly to ensure someone can receive our services, and therefore, you are making an internal impact on their lives.

We were so blessed by our 40th Anniversary Celebration time together! We want to thank a few special people who helped to make this event such a joyful celebration of God's faithfulness!

Thank you to Hickory Bible Church for hosting and catering our event!

Thank you to our guest speaker, John Owens, who gave an incredible testimony of God's faithfulness.

Thank you to Grace Bell for leading us in such powerful worship.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us! We have seen our ministry evolve and grow over the past 40 years, and that would not have been possible without the gracious support you all, as our community, have given us. As we continue to look ahead with excitement for our new building, we want to be intentional this year to continue reflecting on and celebrating the past 40 years of God's faithfulness to our ministry!

We have a desperate need for boys summer clothes sizes 12-24 months! We are so grateful for such a supportive community that continues to show up for our clients needs! We have a donation drop off door on the side of our building when you turn in it’s on your left. We accept donations during office hours! 40 YEARS!! We incorporated in 1985 making 2025 our 40th year of service to this community. Some of our board members are popping in to tell you a little bit about it! Please join us all year as we celebrate 40 years of Gods faithfulness!!!🤍

Please help us welcome another new staff member, Katie Ellis! Katie is our new Client Services Director. Katie graduated in 2024 from Charleston Southern University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Music. She has a deep desire to meet people where they are, reach them with the hope of the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, and to be a voice for the voiceless. With her heart for foster care/adoption, and her communications education, Katie has been a perfect fit for this role. Katie and her husband live on a 200+ acre farm that has been in her family for over 100 years in Casar, NC.

If you are interested in volunteering, Katie is happy to get to know you and connect you in the right volunteer position for you! Katie works alongside our volunteers and clients to keep everything running. She is such a welcoming smile to our clients and we look forward to the great impact she’s making in our center!
