The Pregnancy Care Center of Catawba Valley exists to uphold the sanctity of human life by demonstrating the love of Christ to: 1) women facing crisis pregnancies and related issues through the provision of spiritual, physical and emotional support and by proclaiming the Gospel, and 2) the community-at-large by promoting a Biblical view of sex and marriage through education.

Thank you to our volunteers that were able to come to our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Lunch! As a staff, we could not be more grateful for the time, intentionality, and love that our volunteers put into being a part of what we get to do here! One of the things we are typically able to provide our moms with is a car seat if they are in our program and choose to have one! All the car seats we give out to our moms are new and donated to our center by individuals and churches in our community. This is a huge blessing to our moms since car seats can be a big financial burden. We are currently running low on car seats and have several moms interested in getting one.

If you are able to donate one, we accept donations anytime we are open! Please pull in and give us a call, and we will come out to help you bring in your donation. Thank you in advance for being a generous community and for your heart for our clients! 🤍

Please help us welcome Sherri, our new Community Navigator, to our PCC family!! Sherri is originally from Michigan but has lived in North Carolina since 2004. She earned her Master's Degree in Christian Counseling and has worked in a position of community engagement for 15 years. She is happily married and has one daughter! Through prayer, she felt called to begin an internship at another Pregnancy Resource Center in the area. There she learned the heart of the ministry, and we are grateful that brought her here to us!

She serves as our Community Navigator and case manager for our clients. She helps to assess their needs and walks with them to get to the proper resource. This service is so crucial for our clients, especially those in need of additional care.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, with today, October 15th, designated as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. This day is set aside to honor all those affected by pregnancy and infant loss.

Join us in the International Wave of Light, where families light a candle at 7pm local time to create a continuous wave of light across the globe in memory of their lost babies.

We have already reached our goal and will be closing the application to adopt a family for this year! We cannot thank you all enough for how you have stepped up and supported our clients this year.
