Babies have incredible immune systems, ready to learn as soon as they are born. The hepatitis B vaccine is one of the first vaccines your baby will receive, helping their immune system recognize and resist the serious virus that can lead to liver disease later in life.

It’s critical to recognize the importance of vaccination to prevent children from developing liver disease. Hepatitis B is preventable with immunization, helping your child grow up healthy, happy and protected. Talk with your pediatrician if you have questions about the hepatitis B vaccine.

There’s a lot of scary information online about vaccines and their ingredients, but vaccines keep kids healthy. Kids who aren’t sick are able to go to school, play with friends and thrive in their communities.

And while the internet doesn’t always have your best interests at heart, pediatricians do. If you have any questions about vaccines, don’t hesitate to reach out to your pediatrician.
