Yesterday, on National Daughters Day, we had the honor of attending the sweetest homebirth!! This family didn’t find out gender at their sono, or even right when baby was born. Eventually, they peeked under the blanket and announced they had a SON! Welcome to the world, little guy! You are so loved ❤️

No causal link between Tylenol and autism has been evidenced. SMFM (high-risk OBs) continue to recommend Tylenol for reducing fever when appropriate.

To be clear, SMFM stands behind our recommendation that acetaminophen use during pregnancy has not been shown to cause or increase the risk of autism or other neurobehavioral problems in children.

Text convo with one of our sweet moms who had to change her birth plans. We could not be with her in person because of distance, but we still got to be there for her as she labored and birthed her baby. For me, the heart of a midwife is to teach, encourage, love, support, build up and guide (plus so so much more 😉)those who choose us for their care. Life happens- birth can be unpredictable at times... we never stop being there even if we can be there physically.
