Yesterday we had some great sessions with Dolly and R***r! Spring is a great time to get your horse back on track with massage. Massage helps to rebalance their muscles from being in light work from the winter, and gets them ready for warm-weather riding and performance. Schedule your horse an appointment today!

Our friend Ruth got her massage the other week, to help loosen tension and improve her gait as she’s aging. By the end of her session she was visibly relaxed and moving great!

What a great weekend at Foothills Barrel Classic! I got to work with such great horses, and see so many great runs! These horses are athletes, and it’s easy to tell they are treated that way to have performed so well. This was a great event and I can’t wait to see how great it is next year!

This Thursday we had the opportunity to present to the 6th grade level at the West Alexander Middle School Career Day! I was able to tell them about how to become an equine massage therapist, what I learned in my certification course, why to be an equine massage therapist, basic muscle anatomy, tools, and what I do for each massage.

The seasons are changing, and massage is a great tool to help your horses transition to cooler weather. With the cold comes extra aches, and tension from bracing in the cold.

Even if your horse gets the winter off, this is a great way to prevent injury and help keep their muscles healthy and loose! 🍁

Recently I went to speak with the Gaston County 4H group about massage! There was a great turnout and I was able to talk to them about my education, what is included in massage, anatomy, and answer the questions they had. It was such a fun group and it was great how much interest they showed! Thank you to Jessie for being a perfect model! ❤️

Yesterday was a great day at Painted Sky Ranch Riding School! Dolly received another massage, and we had new client Missy get her first! Both did great and had some big releases, and I can’t wait to see what they can accomplish with their muscle relief!

Jolene and Tigger did great for their first massage sessions! Both are turning over a new leaf with a great new owner, and there is no better way to start than releasing existing tension!
