At John Knox Village East, we love celebrating resident success stories – and today, we’re celebrating Carolyn. 💚

Carolyn arrived at JKVE for a skilled therapy stay after surgery for a femur fracture. Throughout her rehabilitation, she worked tirelessly to reach her goals, even when faced with setbacks and an unexpected hospitalization. Her determination never wavered as she focused on improving her mobility, strength and confidence with daily activities.

Thanks to her persistence and the support of our rehab team, Carolyn was able to discharge at an independent level at the end of her stay. We couldn’t be more proud of the progress she made and the dedication she showed every step of the way.

Stories like Carolyn’s remind us of the power of hard work, encouragement, and community at every stage of life.

Meet Sydney, CMT – Care Services Coordinator at John Knox Village East!

With 12 years of experience as a Certified Medication Technician, Sydney now serves as our Medical Records Director and plays a key role in helping residents transition into JKVE. She is highly skilled in documentation, compliance, and supporting residents and families with care and understanding.

Sydney is dedicated to creating a positive, efficient work environment where both residents and staff feel supported and valued. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, Kinleigh.
