As many of you know, I resigned my position as the Health Academy instructor at CMHS after this school year. After 4 years of love, laughter, and learning, I have to say goodbye to the adventure that is being an educator and hello to a new venture that involves a Masters degree and growing a business. However, that doesn’t mean I am not going to be a part of this Health Academy at all anymore, I absolutely plan on being there to help the new instructor and be a source for the students who I have witnessed grow from 8th and 9th graders to Juniors and Seniors. I will miss my time at CMHS and hope that I have made a positive difference in the lives of the students, community and the academy. With that being said, please help me welcome the new teacher and get excited for the 2025-2026 school year!

Great job, Alexis Perkins competing against not only other states, but other countries!! 14,000 students, 70 + completions, opening ceremony, awards ceremony, and everything in between. Chiefland Middle High School be proud of your HOSA students for making it to the Big Leagues!

A landmark event for CMHS HOSA today. Our Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) class traveled to Ocala’s Marion Technical College (MTC) to take the National EMR certification exam. Now to await the results 😁 Of course we had to stop at Golden Corral for lunch 🤣
