Meet Your Provider: Cami Cowart, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

A lifelong member of our community and proud Santa Fe High School graduate, Cami brings 27 years of nursing experience to our practice.

Her healthcare journey began at Florida Gateway College, where she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in 1995, her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 1998, and her Registered Nurse (RN) in 2003. She later advanced her education at Chamberlain University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2019 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2021. Cami is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

While working toward her RN, Cami gained valuable experience in a nursing home setting, providing compassionate care to long-term and rehabilitation patients. For most of her career, she has served in medical office settings, caring for patients 18 and older with a focus on personalized, patient-centered healthcare. She also has specialized experience in transitional care management, helping patients successfully move from hospital to home, and in 2022 she expanded her expertise by earning her Hormone Pellet Therapy Certification.

Outside of work, Cami is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Stacy, as they celebrate nearly 33 years together. They are proud parents of two daughters, Samantha and Calyssa. In her free time, Cami enjoys cheering on the Florida Gators, making magical memories at Disney World, and spending quality time with family and friends.

With her strong hometown roots, dedication to patient care, and genuine passion for this community, Cami is excited to be serving in the place she has always called home.

Susanne is a highly experienced healthcare professional with 34 years of nursing expertise. She earned her Master’s degree in Family Practice from the University of South Florida in Tampa and has worked across a variety of specialties, including Family Practice, Emergency & Urgent Care, and Occupational Health.

Passionate about patient care, Susanne is dedicated to building strong connections with her patients, helping them navigate both the challenges and successes of their health journeys.

Outside of work, Susanne enjoys spending time with her husband, Randy, of 43 years, their daughter Shelby, and her beloved grandchildren—Jacob, Slade, and Raelynn.

Callie is a highly skilled and compassionate advanced practice registered nurse with over 33 years in the nursing profession. Since earning her National Board Certification and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2015, Callie has dedicated her career to providing exceptional patient care in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.

A lifelong resident of Suwannee County, Callie has shared 33 wonderful years with her husband, Mike. Together they have one daughter, Dallas (Paul) Schrier of Jacksonville, and one son, Chase (Peyton) Smith of Live Oak. They are proud grandparents to Jackson and Parker — their greatest joy!

Outside of work, Callie enjoys traveling, camping, and boating with her family.

Meet Joseph Stankus, APRN/Owner
A proud High Springs native, Joseph has been caring for our community for over 10 years. He earned his nursing degree in 2007 and worked eight years in the emergency department before completing his Master’s in Advanced Nursing in Family Practice at the University of South Florida, graduating with honors.

Joseph is passionate about all areas of family medicine, especially diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, men’s health, mental health, weight management, and orthopedics.

When he’s not caring for patients, Joseph enjoys the outdoors, trips to Cedar Key, and spending time with his wife of 16 years, Garilee, and their two active children.

We’re saying goodbye to two incredible team members, Lianny and Daniela, as they continue their journeys on the path to becoming medical providers.
