Under the leadership of Varsha, owner and pharmacist of Caring Pharmacy in High Springs, these outreach events ensure our citizens stay safe, healthy, and protected throughout the dreaded flu season.

Each outreach location works in partnership with local organizations, and all recipients voluntarily receive their flu vaccines as part of our commitment to public health.

To help ensure a seamless transfer of your prescriptions, we have a few suggestions. 💊

1. Notify your doctor’s office to send all new prescriptions and refills to Caring Pharmacy.

2. Call or stop by Caring Pharmacy with your current medication bottles so Varsha or Bruce can review them and confirm all medications are included in the transfer of your prescription file.

3. Speak with our team at Caring Pharmacy pharmacist about any medications that need to be special ordered.

👉 We will be offering curbside pickup and next-day delivery for eligible medications to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Caring Pharmacy pharmacists, Varsha and Bruce, are available to answer any questions you may have—by phone or in person.

As many of you can confirm, last year was a pretty severe flu season. This is your reminder to reduce the impact of this serious illness this year by getting your annual flu vaccine. We have received this season's flu vaccine and are ready to help you protect yourself and your family. Come on in, no appointment necessary.

We are excited to offer a new option for people who find Ozempic or Mounjaro too expensive and uncovered by their insurance plan. We are partnering with another manufacturer to make semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic) and tirzepatide (active ingredient of Mounjaro) available at a fraction of the cost. Out of pocket costs start at $149 for a one-month supply! You will still need a prescription from your provider, but the rewards for your health and wellness have been proven quite worthwhile from this class of medications. please reach out to us with any questions you may have!
