On November 20, 2024, I provided a ½ day workshop, “Building Connections in the Library with Effective Communication” for the Northeast Ohio Regional Library System (NEO-RLS) at Stark Library- Main campus. This was the last one of a series of 4 workshops that I did for NEO-RLS this Fall. It was such a pleasure to speak for such a wonderful organization and to be able to share my knowledge of communication with them! Again, I want to send a big "thank you" to Melissa Lattanzi (Continued Education Coordinator) and Ragan Snead (Executive Director) of NEO-RLS for having me as a speaker!

On September 19, 2024, I provided an all day workshop, “Public Speaking: Effective Skills for Libraries” to the Northeast Ohio Regional Library System (NEO-RLS) at the Twinsburg Public Library. It was such a delight to speak to this group! All my life, I loved libraries and to have an opportunity to provide professional development to librarians and library staff was such an honor! This audience was so engaging and appreciative of the information shared!

Throughout this workshop, I shared my “overcomer mindset” tips in order to visualize Public Speaking in a NEW light. As a kid who stuttered, I couldn’t imagine being an “overcomer” and using my experience with stuttering to help others be confident communicators! This is certainly a dream come true!

What a fantastic Saturday afternoon on July 20, 2024!

I had the pleasure of setting up an information booth at the Highland Heights Community Day local organization tent, where I showcased my speech therapy and professional speaking services. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect and share my passion with our neighbors! I also want to send a special thank you to the City of Highland Heights, Ohio also to Kristen Morelli who asked me to participate. So glad I participated!

On April 29, 2022, Marilee L. Fini CCC/SLP provided a virtual full day workshop on Public Speaking as a part of a leadership training course.
