Our team is trained to walk along this path with you and assist y

ou to a place of healing and wellness. It is important to us that you leave therapy having found a higher level of understanding, an inner peace, a fresh perspective, and hope in your heart! We offer a variety of approaches and skills to provide individual, couples, families, and community groups the tools to be successful navigating through tough social, familial, and personal challenges. We offer consulting for teams & community groups by doing professional development on leadership styles and methods. We also offer faith based Counseling and training for teams. Karen Sullins has been trained in Crisis Management, Disaster Response, and Mass Casualty incidents. Our team provides counseling and consulting services in our schools and communities to include: individual therapy, family therapy, assessments and psychological eval uations, and EAP (employee assistance). We are also certifiedin Mental Health First Aid, Peer Support, Spiritual Counseling, Couples counseling, and assist in IEPs. Karen is the regional Mental Health Coordinator for Alabama Law Enforcement Alliance for Peer Support (ALEAPS) Region D and Project Respite for front line workers and thier families at (https://www.truereloveution.com/project-respite). Karen presents trainings for First Responders and Healthcare professionals; collaborating with Ambulance compamies in Alabama as a Crisis Intervention and Mental Health Coordinator. Karen is also a volunteer with the Red Cross as a Liscensed Disaster Mental Health Provider specializing in disaster services, crisis intervention, and spiritual care. She Volunteers as an Advocate with Trafficking Hope, a ministry of hope and healing for victims that have been sexually exploited and trafficked.

This pomegranate tree was planted by my grandmother. It was stunted for years... over the last decade, there would be 2-4 fruits grow upon our tree. 🍏

Yesterday, I walked out to see the tree because I saw something on it and the closer I got, the more I realized, it wasn't debris after the but rather a bounty of fruit - all over the tree. 🌳

Prevention and conversations early on with our children are so necessary. I cannot tell you how many times I have personally heard, "well, that won't ever happen here"... please be diligent.

We offer a variety of counseling and consulting services. We support local agencies who also serve others. We serve children, adolescents, families, adults, and corporate and/or organizational consulting within state and government agencies. We are highly trained and skilled in trauma focused behavior therapy, counseling psychology, and the assessment of individuals.

Mrs Sullins is FEMA trained, a Liscensed American Red Cross Disaster Response Mental Health Volunteer for the South Alabama Region, receiving advanced certification in the areas of Incident Command, Crisis Response, Compassion Fatigue, Psychological First Aid, Trauma Informed care, Peer Support, and Campus and Workplace vulnerability assessments to violence. She is the owner of a private practice mental health counseling agency who supports community outreach and partners with the school systems to better serve children, youth, and families.

Our non-profit purpose aims to enhance the wellness and overall mental health of our families and professionals, to partner with leaders by promoting growth and health, by encouraging resiliency, and infusing hope to the hurting and hopeless! Educating both students and professionals on the necessity of safety, security, and the absolute necessity of health within relationships is what we purpose to accomplish with our clients.
