Today is National Panic Attack Awareness Day 🫁💭

Panic attacks can feel overwhelming, frightening, and isolating. It can seem like everything is crashing in at once while the world keeps moving around you.

At We Rise Therapy & Wellness, we want to remind you that what you’re feeling is real, and you’re not alone. 🤍

For women of color, panic symptoms often go unspoken or misunderstood. They’re dismissed as stress, overreacting, or something you’re expected to push through.

Your experience matters. Your body is trying to tell you something, and support is available.

Through culturally attuned therapy, we help you recognize, understand, and manage the root causes of panic. Whether that comes from unprocessed trauma, chronic stress, identity pressure, or something else entirely, we’re here to help you make sense of it. 🤝

You deserve to feel safe in your body and grounded in your healing.

July is BIPOC Mental Health Month 🧠 🙌

Also known as Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, this month was created to honor the legacy of author, advocate, and visionary Bebe Moore Campbell, who dedicated her life to breaking the silence and stigma surrounding mental health in communities of color.

This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and healing power of BIPOC communities everywhere. ✊🏾✊🏽✊🏿✊🏻✊🏼

At We Rise Therapy & Wellness, Campbell’s mission lives on. We support women of color who are navigating burnout, identity stress, and emotional turmoil, all while trying to meet overwhelming expectations in their families, cultures, and careers.

If you’ve ever felt like you had to hide your pain to be accepted or keep performing while falling apart inside, know that it is not your fault and you do not have to carry it alone. 💙

We’re here to support you with culturally relevant therapy built on care, compassion, and connection.

Today is National PTSD Awareness Day 💚

PTSD can feel like always being on edge, emotionally numb, or deeply drained. You may not see it, but that doesn’t make it any less real.

At We Rise Therapy and Wellness, we recognize how trauma affects every part of your life, especially for women of color navigating cultural pressures, identity, and past pain.

Healing is not about forgetting. It’s about feeling safe in your body again and reclaiming your peace. 🌷

June is Men’s Mental Health Month 💙

While our work focuses on supporting women of color, we also recognize that men are often expected to stay silent, stay strong, and keep pushing forward.

Struggling with mental health does not make you weak. Asking for support does not make you any less of a man. Everyone deserves space to feel, heal, and grow. 🌿

This month, we honor the emotional journeys of men, break stigma, and stand with you in your path toward mental wellness. 🔆

International Day of Yoga ✨🧘🏽‍♀️

Yoga is more than movement. It’s a path to grounding, healing, and reconnecting with yourself.

For women of color moving through life’s challenges, yoga can be a powerful complement to therapy. It offers space to slow down, breathe, and simply be. 🌻

At We Rise Therapy and Wellness, we honor mind and body practices that support your full well-being.

Today, may you find a moment of peace within and around you. 😌

Honoring Juneteenth with Reflection and Healing ❤️💛💚

Juneteenth marks a powerful moment in history. It celebrates a long-overdue freedom that continues to shape our present. ✊🏾

As we pause to honor this day, we recognize that liberation isn’t only historical, it’s ongoing. It lives in the right to rest, to grieve, to celebrate, and to heal.

We acknowledge the lasting impact of racial trauma and the emotional toll it takes on Black communities.

At We Rise Therapy and Wellness, we are committed to creating a space where care is rooted in cultural understanding and emotional safety for Black women and other women of color. 💞

This Juneteenth, we reflect, remember, and recommit to the work of healing and honoring every part of your experience.
