Here are some tips for exercises after breast surgery to improve mobility, strength, and recovery. Always consult your healthcare provider or physical therapist before starting any routine.

Begin with gentle movements like breathing exercises, shoulder rolls, and pendulum swings to ease tension and promote circulation. Gradually work on restoring range of motion with wall walks and assisted arm lifts, focusing on slow and controlled movements.
• Stretch: Use chest and side stretches to relieve tightness.
• Strengthen: Try scapular squeezes and light bicep curls as cleared by your doctor.
• Prevent Swelling: Avoid overexertion, and wear compression garments if advised by your physician.
• Progress Gradually: Start with 5–10 minutes daily, increasing as tolerated.
• Get Expert Help: Work with a physical therapist for personalized guidance.

Stop any exercise if you feel pain or discomfort, and always listen to your body.

The actor, who’s a paid spokesperson for , stars in the brand’s latest bra campaign in partnership with Susan G.Komen and shows her double mastectomy scars in the stunning images.

“I was looking in the mirror, and I just thought, I’m done being insecure about my scars,’” Munn told TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie. “So I went to the team of Skims and I said, ‘What do you guys think about showing my scars in this campaign?’ And they were so amazing and thoughtful and wonderful.And we talked it out and we decided to do it.”
