Chicago was a success đź’«

Dr. Michelle Drapkin recently presented with Dr. Christina DiChiara at the Anxiety and Depression Association of America conference on how to thoughtfully integrate Motivational Interviewing into ERP work—helping bridge the space between “I know this will help” and “I’m ready to do this.”

This work is so deeply aligned with our mission: better access to better care. We love bringing science, compassion, and practical tools together in ways clinicians can use right away.

Today we’re celebrating 4 years of Dr. Andrew Keenan at the CBT Center 💙

An expert in OCD, anxiety, and depression, Andrew brings deep training in CBT and ERP - but more than that, he brings consistency, care, and real commitment to the people he works with.

From individual treatment to leading our free monthly OCD support group, his impact extends far beyond the therapy room.

He’s also one of only 23 clinicians board certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology by ABPP -something that speaks to the level of thoughtfulness and expertise he brings to his work every day.

We’re so grateful for him - and for the impact he continues to have on our team and the OCD community.

Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person?

It’s one of the questions we hear every week, and our blog dives into why online CBT can be just as powerful as face-to-face sessions.

Ever wonder why new habits feel so hard to stick with? 🌱

It’s not a motivation problem — it’s your brain doing what brains do best: returning to the well-worn path. Old habits are the slip-and-slide. New ones take time, repetition, and a little tree-clearing.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s returning faster after the slip.

What if, in a tough moment, you paused instead of pushing through? A self-compassion break offers a simple way to notice what you’re feeling, remember you’re not alone, and respond with a little more kindness.

It’s a small shift that can change how you move through hard moments.
