To our beloved patient family,

We're eager to share some news with you about our healthcare journey. After 4.5 years of serving our community, we've decided to take a step back from the Urgent Care and focus exclusively on our Primary Care practice.

This decision wasn't easy, but we're confident that it's the best move for us and our patients. Our amazing team has been working hard, but with the trials of a global pandemic, the Great Flood of 2023, staffing shortages, and rapid growth of both practices (a testament to your love that we humbly recognize), it's become more challenging to provide the quality care that you deserve.

Our motto will always be QUALITY over QUANTITY. Therefore, we will be restructuring and focusing exclusively on our primary care practice starting May 1st, 2023.

Currently, we are not accepting new patients (except for newborns and siblings); however, we will send out a notice as soon as we resume. We deeply appreciate the unwavering love and support from our community and look forward to this next step in our healthcare journey with you all. We wouldn’t be here without you.

2023 is starting off with a gush of fun surprises. Water, water, more water, and now ice. In efforts to accommodate both businesses in a modified/reduced space we are having to adjust our operating hours temporarily. Our team is working hard to find a quick solution and we appreciate your patience and continued support.
Our plan is to continue to update as often as possible so please keep following our posts.
Primary Care patients and families, please be on the look out for a call from our office to discuss appointments.

OPEN 12-5

While we have limited space due to last week's water damage, our team is ready to get anyone seen. We have 3 providers and support staff prepped and ready.

As temps begin to warm up a little today, our staff is going to try and get on in to the office to see some kiddos.

Urgent Care will tentatively open 12-5 based on conditions nearing that time. We have staff that come from near and far and we want them and you to be able to make it to the office safely.

Looks like the winter storm persists. We will remain closed today and continue to monitor the weather and road conditions. We shall reopen when safe for our staff and patients to travel.

Preferred Pediatrics Urgent Care for Kids and Primary Care will be closed today 1/31 due to inclement weather. We will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions and will reopen once safe for all.

Real cute, Texas weather. You think you’re funny and throwing out some ice and colder temps. You win this time. Preferred Pediatrics Urgent Care for Kids will be closing at 5pm in efforts to get all staff home safely before the sun goes down.

If water pouring from the ceiling can’t stop us, then freezing temperatures and potential ice can’t either…..NOT YET at least.

Primary Care: 8am-2pm
Urgent Care: 2pm-7pm

***We will be watching the weather closely. If there is a turn for the worse, then we may have to close for the safety of our staff and your families. ***

WE are BACK! While it isn't to full capacity with all of our rooms and few little obstacles, we will be here to safely serve you and our community.

Holy smokes!

Today was eventful to say the least! The office rain turn flood has subsided leaving significant loss for Preferred Pediatrics Primary Care and Urgent Care for Kids.

Tomorrow is the strategy phase and making a plan to get us back to helping all our patients and community. Please stay tuned for all updates. Primary patients have your ringer on. We will be calling to make sure all well child exams can be seen and/or accommodated.

We would also like to give a shout out to the Highland Village and Flower Mound Fire Departments. They came to the rescue after a long night of calls and even helped try to salvage as much of our supplies as possible. We are beyond grateful for their quick response and assistance.

Lastly, THANK YOU ALL for every call, text, fb message, and words of encouragement. We would not be here without all of your love and support.
