After the rains/storms, the gang all showed up and we went for a nice drive. They had all asked Tuesday when our next drive was going to be!

We went to Fidelity to see the church, then drove around Hiawatha looking at some nice houses! It was a beautiful drive. We saw lots of beautiful red bud trees, and just couldn’t get over how instantly the rains greened everything up!

How many of you remember playing on a merry-go-round like that? Weren’t they a lot of fun?😁

Actually, I can! The other day at TT, we were doing trivia and games…and
then we got off into stories…and one of our residents was telling us again about the naked man she saw walking down the street several years ago (“there he was just walkin’ down the street, singing doo waa did did dee dum dee dee dee!”). From there we went to streaking, mooning, skinny dipping! It was so hilarious! Two of us laughed til we cried, and my cheeks ached when we were done! Hence the laugh lines!😂

And today we went through Reserve and Falls City! There was the old governors mansion in Falls City, their beautiful courthouse and Weaver Hotel. And the old school in Reserve still stands! Beautiful day for a drive and the ice cream was spot on! If you know of any fun, interesting places for a drive through visit, let us know!

industry for its size, and one thing we’ve loved seeing in most all these smaller towns is a city park for the kids!

Another road trip for the books! Forgot to take our starting picture, but it was Mike, Nancy, Leola, and their designated driver!

We went throughout Wathena, up and down hills, saw our favorite ornamental garden, and all around town. Got some great pictures!

Then we took the side roads to Elwood, went through Rosecrans, and all around Elwood. Saw some sites we hadn’t seen in years!

Had to get out before this weather hits! You all stay safe and warm!

Road trip again! I think we all agreed we were getting pretty stir crazy and needed to get OUT! So we ventured to Atchison today, via back roads! And what a nice trip it was! Mike, Leola and Nancy ventured out with me! Of course we got them
ice cream!🤗 Traffic was pretty busy, so we only got our beginning picture…but we had a great time! We’ll be doing Bingo Thursday!
