When January feels extra long, taking time for self care matters. The afternoon focused on slowing down through guided meditation, gentle movement, and a calming sound experience with Sheila, plus a little extra care with facials and massages. 😌🧖

Our amazing activities assistant Natalie, just came back from a trip to Ireland. She put together a wonderful PowerPoint to teach us about Ireland and took us with her through her trip.

She brought us Irish chocolate and let us feel her wool sweater she bought while there. Everyone was asking to go on her next trip with her! ✈️☘️

Every winter drive through the canyon is a treat for our residents, surrounded by nature’s beauty! 🚗❄️ We’re so grateful to call this place home.

We usually stay busy, but slowing down this winter brought some really special moments. Jeri shared the story behind a piece of coral she’s had since childhood.

Will showed a photo of himself and his bride and told the story of how they met. Virginia played the piano and reminisced about her years as a teacher. Quiet moments like these are such a gift to share together. 💛

To chase away the winter blues, we brought summer inside for the day. ☀️

We watched The Rookie, agreed baseball feels very summer, enjoyed root beer floats, played a little “beach” volleyball, and soaked in all the sunny vibes. Back to winter tomorrow… but this was fun while it lasted. 😄
