Today was an incredibly busy day! We had a "sold out" schedule and worked non stop, open to close.

I knew it was going to be tough to make time for lunch, so I powered up on breakfast with this Eggwich from Five Loaves Brunch in Milford.

Let me just say 1. It was freaking delish 2. It gave me a full belly to effectively treat all of our patients today. 3. Super friendly staff! And 4. So so close to our office!

If you haven't stopped in there yet, please do so!! Sooooo good!!

And we feel we are being called to open our doors tomorrow morning September 12th at 8:30am to take a few minutes and pray together.

Hey friends!

Mica Healing Aesthetics and Wellness is collecting NEW toys for kids with cancer while they are being treated in the hospital. We would LOVE your help in restocking the pediatric oncology unit at Children's Hospital.

Small toys, like cars, Barbies, dolls, Lego, puzzles, arts/crafts, coloring supplies, books, etc. Ages range from toddlers to teens.

Because these kiddos are immunocompromised, the items must be new. Please help us make their day a little brighter while they are going through the most difficult thing ever.

All month long, we will be collecting these donations and we thank you for your generous hearts.

I am a perpetual student. 👩‍🏫🏫

Learning is truly a life long process.

On this Saturday morning, house quiet, hot cup of coffee, I am preparing to begin my cohort on Monday to become certified in Functional Medicine. I haven't been an actual student in a hot minute, so I'm making sure I plan accordingly.

I am also a proud clinical member of The Menopause Society. So I'm going through the NAMS practice guide to be able to best support our ladies experiencing such a delicately complicated time in their lives.

While my philosophy in nursing is primarily holistic, I will always be a proponate of evidence-based practice. That's why when I'm not seeing patients or cheering my boys on at soccer, I will be at the kitchen table, face buried in a book, with a hot cup of coffee. 💚
