COOLING CENTER ACTIVATION 🌡️ Due to the anticipated High Temperatures, Cooling Centers will be open as follows:

❄️ Tuesday, July 15 – Saturday, July 19, from 9 AM – 7PM, at the 2nda Iglesia La Mision Church, 80 Elmendorf St, in Kingston. This center is operated by Catholic Charities, and can be contacted directly at (845) 481-4549.

❄️ Tuesday, July 15 – Friday, July 18, from 9 AM – 5PM, at the Trudy Center, 50 Center St, in Ellenville. It can be reached at (845) 210-8101.

Law Enforcement agencies or any other organizations that come in contact with or become aware of any individuals who are in need of shelter can bring them to a cooling center.

Currently 's are not included in the president’s budget request. Under the proposed reorganization of the Department of Health and Human Services, AHEC, along with many other programs, would be eliminated as a federally funded program.
