Track Spotlight: The Mountain -- Connecting Science and Soul
Register here: https://www.uuwomenspirit.org/register
Are you drawn to the quiet wisdom of rocks, the language of the land, the stories written in stone? Track facilitator Jay Woodard invites you to explore how science and soul are not opposites, but intertwined strands of the same sacred thread.
This track offers a powerful mix of storytelling, science, and place-based magic: learn the geologic history of the Highlands and Smoky Mountains, take a field trip to Dry Falls and experience cave-like formations in person, and discover how the land shapes culture—and how to read the stories written in stone
Jay brings a deep love of earth sciences and narrative tradition to this offering, helping us bridge the divide between intellect and intuition, knowledge and reverence. If you're looking for something grounded *and* transformative, this is your track. This track is available during our "Institute" event, from October 1 - 3.
