Students from The Peddie School brought the Meadow Lakes arboretum to life—right on our hallway walls! Their beautiful mural, inspired by our 103-acre arboretum, was a labor of love that now brightens every day for our residents and team.

"Generosity helps create opportunity."

Meadow Lakes recently hosted its 24th annual Education Awards ceremony—an inspiring tradition made possible by the generosity of our community. This year, 157 residents came together to raise over $85,000 in scholarship funds, supporting 25 of our remarkable and hardworking employees on their educational journeys.

Richard Cayea, resident and Education Awards Committee co-chair, honored each recipient with personal praise and impressive facts as they accepted their awards. A heartfelt thank you to fellow Committee co-chair Doodie Meyer and Heather Gurdon, DPT. Heather, a former scholarship recipient who went on to earn her doctorate in physical therapy, returned to the stage to share words of wisdom and deep gratitude for the support she received through the program.

Our Farmer's Market was a huge success! Residents and team members came out to shop for fresh, local produce and support this fun community event.

🌳 A Vision Realized: Arborist Internship Takes Root at Meadow Lakes

We’re proud to celebrate a milestone in our community's ongoing commitment to nature: the Arborist Internship at Meadow Lakes is now permanently endowed, thanks to the remarkable generosity of our residents.

This internship has provided valuable support to our dedicated arborist, Joe Greipp, while offering local college students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the Meadow Lakes Arborist in arboriculture and environmental stewardship.

Now, thanks to the successful completion of the endowment campaign, this program is no longer seasonal or uncertain—it’s a permanent fixture of life at Meadow Lakes!

Our green spaces are a defining feature of this community, and this endowment ensures they will continue to thrive for generations to come. It also ensures that aspiring environmental professionals have a place to learn, grow, and make a difference right here in our backyard.

As a token of appreciation—and to encourage everyone to get their hands in the soil—residents who supported the campaign received "blossom boxes" to plant their own mint and begin cultivating gardens of their own. It’s a beautiful reminder that when we invest in nature, we all grow together.

To the residents who believed in this vision and made it happen—thank you. You’ve created a legacy of learning, growth, and natural beauty. 🌿
