This might be the best Christmas present ever.
This is just mind blowing.
When I set out to start this business, my goal was to find a way to continue to work while dealing with a chronic illness but also be able to make sufficient money to foster kids and be able to support them without being overworked in a dead end job.
Life had other plans. After I was diagnosed with Lyme, everything changed. I got worse and Covid happened and i had to shut down as well as my piano business.
I was able to re-open once my Lyme went through initial treatments and I was functional again.
Not only was I welcomed into an amazing community, but I have been able to follow a dream of helping chronic illness and chronic pain sufferers. Every day, someone comes in telling me how affected and unheard they are from their doctors and how noone can figure out the problem. The same things I lived through when massage was a beacon of hope to my pain.
Even though it’s not all perfect, life is just a process of letting go and shifting and changing but if theres only one message I can give…never give up.
You dont know when the illness will get a discovered treatment or discovered diagnosis, You dont know when the tide will turn, when the pain will subside. It might be tomorrow!! And if you give up today, you will have missed it!
This is my second year in business. I couldn’t be more grateful, excited, proud, humbled.
All of the things I went through as a literal survivor…this is worth it. Im coming out of the fire, carrying buckets of water for others, while also getting the support I need.
