Our Chance to Dance friends had a recital this past Saturday!💃🕺

We were at Teays Valley High School watching our kiddos perform the dances they've been working so hard on. They even had some top level creativity this year, using back lighting and a sheet to show off their dancing shadows!🔦😮

Today was Field Day for our Early Intervention friends!!!😎🌻🌞

Their parents and caregivers joined us on the playground for all sorts of fun: a bounce house, sensory bin, games of Kerplunk vs Tank, spin art, and so much more.

We had a huge turnout and couldn't be more thankful for the families and staff that make this place so great!😊

Our Adult Day friends in Lawrence county did a festive tradition for Easter last week! 🐰🥚

As part of annual tradition, they invited students from Burlington Elementary to an egg hunt outside of our facility!

The best part, our consumers got to hide the eggs before the students arrived and boy were they excited to do so!😁

🗣️🗣️🗣️THAT'S OUR BOARD MEMBER!!!😲🫨😁 Haley is championing inclusion and support for people with disabilities across the entire state of Ohio!

Last night, we recognized Haley Melcher as our SHEro Spotlight, presented by Tim Hortons.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Ohio is a statewide movement uniting law enforcement, fire, and military personnel to raise awareness and vital funding for athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As LETR Director, Haley Melcher leads these partnerships, oversees major fundraising efforts, and drives year‑round engagement across the state. A dedicated advocate for inclusion, Haley’s leadership is shaped by her commitment to community impact and her personal experience as a parent. Inspired by her daughter, who has Angelman Syndrome, she brings purpose and passion to advancing opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
