Additionally, we provide long-term care services to accommodate residents needing a greater level of assistance with daily living tasks. For those looking to combine the security of care with the comforts of home, our care community offers assisted living services in spacious private suites. R.A.Y. (Residents and Youth) is all about connection, laughter, and learning from one another. Our residents have a lifetime of stories, wisdom, and love to share, while our youth bring energy, creativity, and joy that lights up the room ✨
Through fun activities like games, crafts, music, and storytelling, we’re building friendships that truly make a difference—for both young and old.
We’re currently looking for community involvement! If you’re part of a school, youth group, or just want to help make a positive impact, we would love to have you join us 🤝

Honored to partner with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, OSUCCC-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and OSU Hospital East in celebration of Social Work Month!

Our team had the privilege of providing continuing education for their dedicated Social Workers and Case Managers, featuring an engaging presentation on Dementia, Behavioral Health, and Redirection strategies. The session was led by Dr. Daniel Heiser, Vice President of Behavioral Health at GuideStar Eldercare.

We were thrilled by the strong participation and meaningful discussions, and it was wonderful to see teams learning together while enjoying lunch. Most importantly, we’re proud to support education that can be immediately incorporated into daily patient care and interactions.

Thank you for the continued collaboration and for the opportunity to work together in serving our shared patients. We deeply value this partnership and look forward to many more opportunities ahead.

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a day full of fun! We enjoyed some festive St. Patrick’s Day bingo, celebrated our March birthdays, and filled the halls with lots of green decorations and goodies. 💚

🥧 Happy Pi Day from Mill Run!

We had a sweet time celebrating Pi Day with one of our favorite traditions — Pie a Manager in the Face! Our residents and staff had a blast watching the whipped-cream pies fly, and let’s just say… it turned into a sticky, hilarious mess! 😄

Nothing brings more smiles than a little laughter, a lot of whipped cream, and spending time together. Thank you to our brave managers for being such great sports and making the day extra fun for everyone!

Our residents had a little St. Patrick’s Day fun today as they went on a leprechaun gold hunt! They searched high and low for the gold coins those sneaky leprechauns dropped along the way. Lots of laughs, teamwork, and a bit of lucky treasure made it a great time for everyone! 🌈

Scott joined the Optalis tam nearly 2.5 years ago! He has been a licensed Administrator since 2002 and also received his Michigan license this past December! He enjoys the senior living industry because every day there is an opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life..."if you intentionally take the time do so. Key word is intentionally."
Scott's hobbies include backpacking a few times per year, reading and exercise!
