Westar OB/GYN welcomes Bethany Wayt, CNM to our delivery call group! Bethany is employed at Mount Carmel OB/GYN - Hilliard and is now partnering with our team of delivering providers at St. Ann’s. She has 11 years of full scope midwifery care, having delivered over 1000 babies to date. The addition of Bethany to our delivery call group allows us to expand our midwifery care for those patients who prefer midwifery. If you have questions about Bethany, please do not hesitate to ask your provider about her at your next appointment. We are so excited for her to join our team!!!

Tomorrow, 3/25 will be the last day we see patients. Dr Grogg will start in Mansfield in early April and Bethany should be up and running around the week of April 26 at their new offices. We are very sad to see this chapter close 😢. We wish all of our patients and especially our staff nothing but the best in any future endeavors and we hope to see lots of you at our new offices!!

There have been many questions so let me try to clarify.

Our current office is closing 4/1. Innovative Womens Health will not be open at all. BUT...

Dr Grogg will be seeing patients and doing deliveries in Mansfield. He will be affiliated with Ohio Health. Anyone who wants to follow him for annuals or anything are encouraged to do so...annuals are just once a year 😉

I (bethany) will be seeing patients at the Mount Carmel building in Hilliard, very close to our current office. Affiliated with Mount Carmel. I can still see annuals, gyn and OB. For now, I will be doing deliveries only at St Anns. There is a collaborative MD to perform any necessary cesarean sections or anything else out of my scope of practice. But for the ob’s you can still have all your visits in Hilliard and make the one trip to St Anns for delivery if that would work. 😊. There may be a short period of time between IWH closing and getting up and running at the new building but we are trying to work through that.

Hope this clears up some questions.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR PATIENTS:

As many of you know, Dr Grogg has accepted a position in Mansfield, with Ohio Health. Our last day here at this location will be March 26. Our office will be closing. There will be letters mailed to all of our patients with his new location/contact info.

As for myself, I have accepted a position with Mount Carmel Medical Group. My office will continue to be here in Hilliard, the MC office building off of Britton Parkway. I will be delivering at St. Ann’s hospital in Westerville. Stay tuned for contact info.

Please know that this was an extremely hard decision 😔 and we cannot express how much we love and appreciate all your support and allowing us to care for you over the last many years.

Due to the increasing COVID infection numbers in Ohio we can not allow visitors with our patient visits. Patients may bring one support person to ultrasound visits but otherwise only the patient will be able to enter building. Please try to find childcare for your visits. We understand this is not ideal but we need to protect our other patients and staff so that we can stay healthy to care for you. Thank you for understanding.
