Lately, we’ve had more parents telling us things like,
👉 “My kid’s been more emotional than usual.”
👉 “They’re not sleeping great.”
👉 “Everything seems to set them off.”
It’s easy to think it’s just a rough patch or growing pains. Sometimes it is, but often, it’s a sign that their nervous system is working harder than it should be.
This time of year brings a lot of changes. New routines, long school days, heavier backpacks, and more to process emotionally and physically.
That’s why we keep the 3 T’s in mind: thoughts, toxins, and trauma. These are the types of stress that can build in the nervous system and start to affect how your child feels, sleeps, and functions.
