On a beautiful June day residents, staff, and Portlands Royal Rosarians celebrated the second Ackerly Rose Festival Coronation. The ceremony began with the blessing of and planting of a new rose, named Strike it Rich, to the Ackerlys garden. Next was the crowning of 6 Ackerly residents as Rose Court Queens and Kings with crowning and escorts by Royal Rosarians. Residents and their families also celebrated with cake and punch. This Ackerly tradition holds a special place in our hearts!
