🎇Fireworks Are Beautiful – But They’re Not Worth an Eye Injury

As we get ready to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks, barbecues, and fun in the sun, your doctors at Vivid Eye Care want to remind you to keep eye safety a top priority:

* Leave fireworks to the pros. Attend public shows instead of setting off your own.
* Protective eyewear is a must if you/re near fireworks, even as a spectator.
* Keep children away from sparklers and fireworks – they’re not toys.
* If an eye injury occurs, don’t rub or rinse. Seek medical help immediately.

Our team is here for you year-round, but we hope you won’t need us for an emergency this holiday!

🧨Have a safe, happy, and eye-healthy 4th of July! We will be closed on July 4th and 5th. You can schedule your eye exam online through our website. We will be back in the office on July 8th.
